I've got a leaking clutch master cylinder, a good used unit came as extra parts with the car (528e). I need to know the best way to change it. Haynes says to disconnect feed line in engine compartment. It is very hard to get to, right under brake booster. Can I disconnect that metal line from the rubber line down where it's easy to get to & pull the metal line through with the master ?

Thanks..........
