sounds like it's time to use one. If you stripped that hex bolt out, you have to get it out somehow before you can take the upper timing cover off. If memory serves me, that was a 10 mm internal hex head that was inset into the rotor adaptor. The good news is that you still have plenty of shoulder on that inset hex head to grab onto. I know one of the guys on the board has had more experience with easy-outs than me. Perhaps you'll get a little more help than I can provide.

Thanks everone for all the help on my head gasket change adventure. I have one more problem. Bentley does not explain how to remove the adapter for the rotor. I need to remove the top timing chain cover. I assumed the rotor adapter required a hex wrench and it need to be turned counter clockwise. However, I concern stripped it using the hex wrench. I can't see how it is connected because radiator is in the way. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Todd Q.
