If you drive in situations like I do, you rarely have the chance to use your high beams, muchless long distance driving lights, due to oncoming traffic.

I personally like fog type lights that throw a low wide beam that helps to illuminate the sides of the road and fill in what the headlights don't.

I especially like yellow, since it naturally increases perceived contrast even in fogless conditions. It also seems to not cause other drivers to flash their high beams at you since yellow doesn't "glare" in their eyes like blue-white light does.

I'm currently running Bosch H1/H4 headlights, with 80/100 watt bulbs. The lighting is quite good, though not spectacular. Would 100 watt driving lights (Bosch Hi Pilots) give significant improvement to my existing lighting? Or is it better (i.e., more useful) simply to add fogs for those rare drives in inclement conditions? David
