Thanks everone for all the help on my head gasket change adventure. I have one more problem. Bentley does not explain how to remove the adapter for the rotor. I need to remove the top timing chain cover. I assumed the rotor adapter required a hex wrench and it need to be turned counter clockwise. However, I concern stripped it using the hex wrench. I can't see how it is connected because radiator is in the way. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Todd Q.

BTDT.i had the same problem when i changed the cap and rotor on the bormann6.i managed to break the torque by grabbing the allen screw head with a 5"pair of vice grips. was a white knuckler, but it worked. i think the screws are locktighted @ the factory.i stole the screws from my parts car to replace. but the screws can be re-used by hacksawing a slot in the head for a screwdriver.good luck
