eBay usually has the Bentley Manual from several venders. Sometimes e28 owner's manuals come up too. I also got a BMW Electrical Troubleshooting Manual for my car from: Autolit.com who was selling it on eBay. Very useful, more complete schematics than Bentley, but, like Bentley, not exactly error-free.

I bought a Chilton's repair manual for BMWs. It's kinda vague in detail though. Is there a better manual to use for a beginner? Also, where can I get an original owner's manual for an '84 528e?
