If Bentley produces a manual for your car, buy it even if you doubt you'll ever work on your own car.

If Bentley doesn't have anything on your car, Haynes will work in a pinch.

If Haynes doesn't cover your car, you'd be better fumbling in the dark than using a Chilton's. Chilton's is the only book that has ever bounced off my garage wall, having been launched there in frustration. Where they're less vague, they're either inaccurate or misleading or both. I wouldn't trust a Chilton's manual to tell me what weight oil to use, far less where to find the drain plug.

(Have I aroused the libel lawyers yet? :-)
