...the head of the bolt, that is! I don't believe that you'd have any room to use an easy-out, even if you used an angle adapter on the drill. On the other hand, a Dremel can cut (or grind) the head of the bolt off, and it doesn't really matter what angle you're using it. Most of the time, when the tension on a bolt is released in this way, it'll back out by hand (unless it's Loctite-ed or a lock bolt).

The mirror I use is an old cosmetic case mirror that's about 3" diameter.


Thanks everone for all the help on my head gasket change adventure. I have one more problem. Bentley does not explain how to remove the adapter for the rotor. I need to remove the top timing chain cover. I assumed the rotor adapter required a hex wrench and it need to be turned counter clockwise. However, I concern stripped it using the hex wrench. I can't see how it is connected because radiator is in the way. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Todd Q.
