Fellas,
Sold the 535is and the Dinan turbo kit that I had planned to install and bought two e12s. The one pictured here is a 1976 530i with a Korman Stage II (240hp) and 5 speed. Car has big sways, Bilstein sports and Intrax springs. Also has some really nice Recaros. Comparisons are inevitable. My 535is brakes, handles and drives better than the e12. The e12 seems much softer and squats significantly on acceleration. It is of course much faster in a straight line. I am just going to enjoy it for waht it is.

I also bought a 1979 538i parts car. It is a real treasure that I found in FL and will drive 1100 miles round trip next weekend to pick up. It hasn't been on the road in two years due to a failed tranny and has alot of rust. It does have a turbo motor!! This one even has a water to air intercooler. I'll post a picture next week. I'll be pulling the car apart and saving the motor/turbo for a future e28.

I am searching for a short bumper M30 e28. Drew's car would be perfect because of the US (low compression) motor but he won't sell it to me.

Later,
Todd
