At a recent track day I was talking to a guy who had both an M5 and an Alpina B9, and he reckoned that the Alpine seemed a lot more nimble and had much better turn-in than the M5, and I guess he should know...

Got me a set of staggered width 16" wheels (7x16,8x16) and while I realize the standard tire setup is 205/55R16 and 225/50R16 front/rear respectively, any reason, benefit, disadvantage, etc. to running the beefier 225s in the front as well? I know that BMW, on some models (i.e. e36 M3), runs the same tire size all around even with staggered-width wheels. Thanks in advance for the feedback. -M-
