Actually - I ended up with ET22. The tyres are Avon ZZ1, out of England. They offer great grip in the dry and a very aggressive tread pattern which helps minimise hydroplaning in the wet. I'm now looking at Dunlop SP9000 tyres though, and possibly moving to 245/45x16 on 16x8.5inch on the rear. The goal is to stabilise the handling, per Rob Anderson and Chris Graff's notes on the www.m535i.org page.

Hope this helps.
