You learn something new every day, especially if you read this board. Anyway, I think that site says the iS and M5 springs are the same (or is it the i and iS?), but I didn't know they were all the same rate. Oh wait, I think the site says the rears are the same. Oh well. Anyway, thanks for clearing that up.

As for your conclusion, in short, yes, the less weight you have pressing down on a spring, the less it well compress. Simple physics. So the 528e, at roughly 200lbs lighter overall than the 535i, will compress their springs less (if fitted with the same spring rate) than the 535i.

Ok, I kinda figured I was right. But, I would imagine that the difference in ride height is negligible, hmm? Either way, my rear (actually, my 528e's rear) is lower than my front, but that's probably because I have the OE springs on there. New Bilsteins w/ ~750 miles on them, but old springs, lol. How much sense does THAT make?

Anyway, thanks, as always, to you and Rob for your vast knowledge of these cars. You show, once again, that you have entirely too much time on your hands. . .
