I would say don't bid on it,

You're ruinin my party, man!

but I know you probably will anyway!

Damn skippy I will. . . if I can find someone kind enough to keep the car til Thanksgiving. Anyone in New England want to pick up the car and drive it for free until Thanksgiving? :-) For real!

Ebay is a risky business, even though I have bought 2 bmw's on ebay, I wouldn't recommend it usually.

I haven't bought any cars off eBay, yet. But, that's just because I only have the money to buy small parts, posters, and the occassional wheel or two (or three or four, in my current case, lol). I haven't gotten burned yet, so, using the typical American mindset, I'm gonna keep goin' until I have a first-hand bad experience!

Call up and talk to the guy, or at least email him.

This is a good idea, but, given the fact that this is some type of dealer that has only 3 feedbacks to his name, I seriously doubt I'll get a very good answer.

--in my browser, I always have a page open to ebay, bimmer.org, my email, and whatever porn site I happen to be on!

Same here, usually. . . except for the porn, lol. Not that I'm against it, but who needs porn when you have a woman? Ok, that's OT.

Check out autotrader if you want cheap 535's!

Hmmm, good idea. Maybe I'll just wait until about Thanksgiving or Christmas and buy one in better condition.

But, you have to admit, if I won this thing for $1,000, I could part it out and get more back for it. Even the interior would get me several hundred. It's all put together! Unlike my own, lol.

I still have a week to decide, which means there's still time for someone to bid higher than I would want to pay for it. Plus, there are several people that e-mailed me, begging me not to bid on it, lol. Do ya think they're trying to tell me something?!!

Thanks to all,
