In Reply to: Remove driver's kick panel... posted by RonW on September 23, 2001 at 20:42:23:

Hey is that the 2' x 2' box with what looks like an small electric motor sticking out of it?

The item I am refering to is located behind the drivers kick pannel just above your right lower leg and to the right of the steering column with an electrical plug in it.

What ever this thing is I found mine unhooked???
Reinstalled the little plastic plug and have noticed no differance in anything. What is it and why would someone unhook it?

Thanks

Greg

Remove the driver's kick panel and look to the right of the steering column. There should be a weird looking unit with a button. Push the button. If that doesn't work, there may be a fuse in the speedometer that needs to be replaced.

I just replaced my O2 sensor and I need to know how to shut off the replace o2 sensor light where the seatbelt and oil and lights reminder are at.
