I have an 86 528e with the 2.7l and I need all the advise I can get to make this car faster without screwing up my engine. Web addresses are helpful for just telling me what I need to do, chips, air flow, wire sets, etc. Thank you ver much. Also places where I can get Body Kits and performance equipment. Thank you

I would do absolutely nothing. A chip will set you back 10% of the value of the entire car! I would do this: everytime you're tempted to spend money 'upgrading' it, put that money in a separate account instead. Eventually, you'll have enough money to buy a fast car.

A 528e is just not a performance car. This may be an unpopular opinion but I think it's a huge waste of time and money to try to make it one. Sell it and get a 535 or M5 instead.

If you just can't help yourself, get a Conforti chip from Josh at Eurosport.

Mike
