you can't plop an i head on an 86 e engine. The pistons are different. You could install an i cam though


You could install a 325i (not e) head, camshaft, intake, etc, add a chip and get about 185 hp, right about where a 535i is. HOWEVER, it might just be easier (and cheaper) to sell the thing and find a 535i.
