when I was rebuilding my 325is I bought an e30 for parts. I payed $1000 for it and sold about $800 in parts. I also used about $2000 worth of parts for myself... selling cars for parts can make money, but takes lots of time/space


I am a student at Millersville University, a PA state school. I am writing a paper on recycling cars. Could you please tell me how much money one can get from parting out an e-28 535i or a 528e, and how much it would be worth to sell that same car.
I have an 87 535i, and would like to ues real numbers as an illustration!!
