I see BMW offer a front seat lumbar support as an accessory - has anyone fitted one of these (presumably UNDER the seat cover)?

Is this an upholsterers job or can an engineer more used to spanners fit it ?

Thanks - Jim B (Somerset, UK)

i have swapped the seat back upholstery from one frame to another. it wasnt too difficult.the cover is stretched out and secured to barbs around the perimeter and hog ringed to green plastic horsehair in the center.if you remove the seat back back you will see what i mean.
