I was going to post a reply last night, but after reading Mikey's post I figured I'd better wait because I was pissed.

Ha, yeah I was, too. But, if it makes him feel better to vent on me, it's better than him venting on the guy down the street, lol, b/c his ass isn't whipped right now, now is it? :-)

Your reply to Mikey was great Brad, and I'll only add this: Sometimes it's not about speed or power, it's about having a nice car, and being satisfied with what you have.

Absolutely. And, as I mentioned to someone this morning, it's not like I don't like speed. In fact, I do my fair share of it, just not at over 100 MPH, lol. But, yes, along the same lines of what you mentioned, I love washing the car simply because it makes it look better. I'm very satisfied. And I imagine I'll still be satisfied once I get that 535iS next year! :-)

Sounds like even though you had a few trips to the parts house that you had fun and learned a lot.

I definitely learned a lot. Now, I'm ready to attack any other "problem" I may have under the car!

Let me finish up with saying that it was a pleasure to do business with you Brad, I hope you can pass the crate on to someone with your old 2.93. Maybe it will become sort of a ledgend with the group, "hey, who's got the crate now"...

ha ha, maybe I ought to put some bimmer.org graphics on it or something for the next person.

BTW, anyone want a 2.93 open diff? Anyone at all? Didn't think so. If anyone wants it, e-mail me.

Thanks again, Larred.
