I tried one of the ultra cheap crack filler kits you find at bargain auto parts stores. It was utter crap. Results looked worse than the cracks themselves, and drove me to replace the dash.

It took me less than 7 hours and I had NO experience and NO guidance, and went down a lot of blind alleys and took the long way around problems out of ignorance. Every step was a new surprise- I had to figure out solutions, dig up necessary tools and parts, and improvise others as I went along. Anybody who's done it recently and who has the expertise, tools, and parts at hand should be able to do it in MUCH less time.

Who can i bring the car to get thm fxed. I dont want a dash cover and a new one with labor has to be over 500 bucks.

No one can fix dash cracks very well. They always come back in fairly short order.

If you don't like the dash covers, go for the $500 quote; it's a steal! My dealer gets $445 for the dash and 7 hours labor at $78 per hour, or $100 with tax.
