You can definitely show. DEFINITELY. Anyone can show. As long as it's washed. Some of the cars were, indeed, perfect... but most weren't. People appreciated a dinged-up E12 as much as the brand new M3 beside it. The atmosphere is great that way. Obviously, different people appreciated different kinds of cars - and the ones who'd appreciate your 530i wouldn't care if it wasn't mint. Wax and wash, that's all you really need.
