2. you bleed with the engine up to temp, not cold, though it may work either way. but the coolant has to fully circulate, so do it with the engine fully warmed.
3. with the engine cold, remove the bleeder screw and use a paper clip wire to ensure the small hole below the bleeder screw is clear. They tend to seal shut from internal scaling. So clear it with the wire, put the screw back in snug, warm the engine, and bleed. Sometimes it helps to have the nose of the car on the up side of a hill, but these big sixes will bleed anyways.
