Replaced the start injector this morning (LJetronic - the one you can't see and need double-jointed fingers to do !). Now starts instantly on a cold start.

Thanks to help and advice from this board.

When warm/hot, if I leave the car for a few hours, it has to churn over for some seconds before firing. Presumably this is due to pressure loss from the fuel distributor rail?

Is this just a matter of replacing the Pressure Regulator or are there other sources of leakage ?

There are NO fuel leaks and I don't think any over-rich cylinders which might be caused by leaky injectors. When I changed the start injector (after standing overnight), the distributor rail was full of petrol, but not under pressure.

Regards from Jim B

Could be the injectors leaking down over time. Take a bit to build fuel pressure again.
