Thank you, gentlemen, for the info regarding the manual to power seat project. I know I'm in good company.

In this never-ending restoration, I'm trading out all 4 doors for some that are in better condition. In the process, and just for the general principle of it, I'm going to install new window motors and locks. The question I have, since I don't fully understand how the locking system works, I hope someone out there can tell me exactly what components I need to replace throughout the whole car to have a "new" locking system. It's going to start with getting a new valet key, as I can't get the trunk open now as it is.
