535i for sale in Houston (archive)

Forgive me, but this an advertisement. I have a 85' 535i for sale. I have essentially rebuilt this car except for the motor which still runs strong. The problem is I have (3) other BMW's and one of them must go. I have over 20k in this car over 4 years or so. My new "project car" is an E30 M3. I will just repost the ad I placed in my local BMWCCA chapter. I know the price is on the high side, but you are all aware what it takes to restore these cars. Flame away, but I hate to give the car away.

1985 BMW 535I. Car has been extensively refurbished and upgraded. This car is an excellent daily driver. It has cold air, Michelin touring tires and a professionally installed Alpine stereo with sub-woofer. Refurbished componenents include: complete brake rebuild w/ Cadmium plated calipers, complete cooling system rebuild, new timing chain, new oil pump, new belts and hoses, complete suspension rebuild plus more. Upgraded components are: Bilstein heavy duty shocks, short shift kit, custom exhaust down pipe with large cats and M5 muffler and Conforti chip. Car has never been in accident or tracked. Excellent mechanical condition and good body and interior. The car had 172,000 miles on it. Asking $6500. This car has been heavily �Perkinized� by Bavarian Machine.
