Just replaced mine. Greatest time-saver was assembling the exhaust and intake manifolds to the head while on the bench. Also install injectors/fuel rail, cold start valve and fuel hose. Also, adjusting valves is a snap on the bench. It will take a hoist or friends to install the whole assembly on the block, but well worth it.


I will be reinstalling a rebuilt head next weekend, would love to hear any pitfalls/tips for the procedure from the wise members of the board.
