I've had this car a just a few months but am looking at a BMW 6-series so this one needs to go. My fourth E28!
Original black paint no damage or rust with tan interior (a little ratty). 189K miles.
Eibach spring kit w/Bilstein shocks and recent front and rear suspension bushings.
Several wheel/tire combinations available. 15"x7" BMW E34 BBS-style wheels on it now with 225/50/15's that I would rather keep.
Over $13,000 in recent service receipts including new SI board, cylinder head, driveshaft work, suspension bushings, clutch, brakes, etc. All records for past 10 years.
I bought to use as a driver's school car but am looking at another BMW.
GREAT engine, very solid and nice-looking car but not perfect.
The transmission is noisy but shifts well. I was prepared to swap the transmission with a good used one(same as in a 528e, available for $4-500) before using the car on the track but have been driving it every day with no problem. Could also use a rear exhaust. Many recent service receipts for the A/C but it's not working at the moment. The compressor turns on so you may be able to get away with a recharge or conversion kit.
JVC CD, 535i sport steering wheel, all the electrical stuff works. GREAT project, track car, or daily driver AS IS!
