Oh well, we pays our money and we takes our chances...;-) It's funny...I bought two cars, an '88 528e, and the '84 522i. 2200 and 2350 respectively. To tell you the truth, I fully expected the '88 to be a semi-rat, and I'll be darned if it doesn't show up with 17" alloys and P7000's, cd player, MOMO wheel, the light kit, etc. Then the '84 with the glowing description shows up today. I notice the wires hanging underneath while it's still on the transporter, and as they are trying to get ot off the truck I see the brake lights don't work. In the five minutes that it did run, I see that the roof doesn't work, no speedo, the indicator on the dash is flashing (brake failure I think?)the car looks like it was being lived in by street people, the list goes on... But the seats were nice. Long story short, life is too short to get all fired up over 2 g's. The guy told the story, I bought it, life goes on. My mechanic loves it when I do this....;-)
