Beat the $2000 rule.... sort of (archive)

At great risk to my karma, I am declaring that I got through my first year of E28 ownership with only abut $1700 in repair bills. All work was done by the shop, except for a couple piddly items that maybe totaled $50.

Now, the car "kind of needs" several more things that total over $600, but nothing urgent.

My thanks to the attentive previous owners for doing proper maintenance. :-)
