That's right, sports fans. It's time for another round of Your Favorite Cajun 5er Guy Updates You On His Baby's Situation!!

There's not much to update except to say. . .

My 1997 528i wheels are on the car!

I don't have the hubcentric rings yet, so I'm feelin a little vibration, even at 20 - 30. But, I won't be driving more than 5 miles over the next few days (until I get them on Wednesday or Thursday), so I'm not too worried about it.

To save time, I'll just give you the link to the wheels part on my site. It's got all of the info, including the ad that the seller posted to this board on 10/15/01. So, you'll be fully up to speed.

Just a few quick notes, though:

1) I LOVE these wheels. They're HUGE compared to my golf cart 14-inchers on 195/60 tires. Makes my car look a touch more badass now!

and

2) I now have an excellent set of 14" original '87 528e wheels for sale. I spent 2 hours washing and drying the car, tonight, and a lot of that time was cleaning these 14" wheels. I'll be sure to take many a picture, tomorrow, and put them on a page on my site. When I do, I'll post a follow-up to this post for anyone that's interested. The basics on them are. . .

14" wheels that came on my '87 528e when they were new. Fortunately, the tires did NOT come on it when they were new :-). There's a good bit of tread left on all but one tire. I think. Maybe there are two that have low tread. I just glanced at them when I was washing the wheels tonight. The tires are some kind of Michelin economy crappers. They were on the car when it was handed down to me, so I can't argue. In case you haven't noticed, I'm trying to cater to the people that want these wheels for snow tires, not the people that want these for, um, whatever other reason you would want these things. Are they completely true/round? I'm not sure. I seriously doubt it, but I know that they're almost true. Nothing wrong w/ using these wheels for snowies.

Ok, I've rambled enough. Time to go take a long, hot shower. I spent all day washing the new wheels, putting them on the car, putting the pics on my site, washing the car, washing the old wheels, yada x3. So, I'm VERY tired and VERY dirty, lol.

C'y'all later!
