88 528e airflow meter (archive)

I have put an 88 528 E engine and 5 speed trans. complete with Computer and wiring harness for engine into a 86 325E ... it stumbles on acceleration. I can disconect airflow meter plug and it performs perfect, but wont crank without hooking plug back up. Idle is good with or without plug in airflowmeter...
