how hard is it to change the guibo? or can i i even do it? how much does it cost and could some fill me in on what will make it bad? I get a funny shuter in 2nd gear only when i am really getting on her hard. thanx alll

Joseph, when I did the guibo on my brothers 1986 528e. The driveshaft clearance to reinstall was very tight. I had to remove the transmission cross memeber and support the tranny with a jack. I also ended up removing the driveshaft at the diffierential for extra manuevering room but I am not sure that it was necessary.It was so tight that I considered hoisting the engine a bit. I never had clearance problems with 2002, 320i or even a 325e. Mike
