I have one that I pulled out a modified 528i, haven't decided if I will put it in my 535i yet. Although Chris's calculations make it look like a better option to the shorter diff.

I really liked it in the 528i, I only lost about 500 RPM between shifts and was able to accelerate in almost any gear around town. 70+ on the highway was a little noisy though.

Hello All,
Just curious as to how many listers have this trans. I am thinking about switching to a 3.25 rear instead of the 3.07, but find that I am already pushing 4150 rpm at 100 mph. Hope all is well.
