I use Mirror Mastic or Mirror Bond. It is used to stick mirrors to walls and is a very good low shrinkage adhesive that will stick well to glass. You can find it at a hardware or building supply store, but don't use silicone, it's not strong enough. Only caution is beware the voc's, it has some really nasty fumes at first.
