I don't know much about the other stuff, but mine was that the overhead light was staying on and not going out and draining battery. Don't know if this helps.
My 87' 535IS has finally developed a quirk. For the most part this car is bone stock and in great shape with only a little over 100K on it.

Question... What can draw power with all the fuses pulled?
I've removed em all, and the main relay, and it's still pulling some power. I don't have an ammeter so I'm not sure how much yet. But I'll be purchasing one tomorrow so I can sort this out. I've searched the archives and see there are common culprits, but all are on fused circuits. So what isn't ???
