Overcast and a light drizzle, but it didn't dampen my spirits, as I love good beer. Andy showed up about 10 minutes to 12! Alright, I get to match a face!

He has an 85 (?) blue 528e. Introductions and we got right down to business. (E28 chat...of course). We hit the tour and it was thoroughly enjoyable. The finale of the tour were Sam Adams samples. They are coming out with a Weist (pronounced vice) beer in December. Delicious! We headed out to the parking lot after we had our fill of free samples and found another e28 lined up with our two:

Stew had arrived late (traffic) and had gone into the 1:00 tour. He had left his lights on, so it gave me the perfect opportunity to go in an interrupt the tour to ask if there we an e28 owner..."your lights are on". I love the look on the "hond-niss-toy" drivers as they try to figure out what an E28 is! Stew has a beautiful 535is. I had to get some food in me so we left to grab a bite. I wanted to make sure Stew was not left stranded, (and formally meet), so we cruised back over to the brewery after a quick lunch.
There must be something in the air of an E28 that makes owners really enjoy the finer things in life!
Andrew and Stew, it was really great meeting you both. I hope we can get together again.
I will see if we can't do something this spring...perhaps at Woodman's in Essex for some of New England's best fried clams?
