If there is actually a hole there, I would mig in some new metal.

Failing that, clean the area thououghly and use some "Tiger Hair" which is glass strands in polyester resin.

Bondo type fillers are semiporous and will attract moisture (hygroscopic). Straight resin won't and is stronger.
