Need a new muffler, should I go stock or is it worth getting something else?? thanks for any input
Kevin

stock works very well.Best is Bosal;most use Ansa, which is actually O.K..Used one myself on a previous e28.

Just got a Bosal 533 exhaust.. it sucks..after spending 670.00 it's brackets don't line up, they forgot to finish the weld where the pipe connects to the cat.. the seams on the cannisters are so badly rolled they leak( Blows steam on startup from every one) yes it is a Bosal just like the one recommended a week or so ago to a 533 owner from "Effects Exhaust" can't tell you how disappointing the whole install was....Get OEM if you can afford it.
P.S. The lack of shielding on it makes it noisier in the car besides all the tweaking needed to make it not hit the tunnel..:(
