im trying to help my friend and his 84 533i automatic.
it seems to have a bad ignition problem, whenever you dip hard into the gas, it starts to missfire until you let off, right off the line its ok and whenever the engine is around 3000rpm its alright, all of the other time its misfiring, my friend changed his plugs but it did not seem to help, any ideas what could be causing this.
things to note, there is no muffler on it, other than that it seems fine. also the onboard computer just blinks little dots, and i cant figure out how to reset it so it works, anyone know how?
