If the 535i is 170 lbs heavier, most of it's in the front. Take out even 100 lbs from the front, and move the battery to the trunk. You have a MUCH better f/r weight ratio. Now, do the e-to-i swap, and you'll have a 2.7l 325i stroker motor good for ~170 - 180 hp, IIRC. Jim C chip, CAIS, and a few other mods, and you'll be at 200 hp. Same as a 535i only lighter and with much better weight distribution.

Of course, you would have an excellent argument when talking about price. Might as well buy a 535i!!!! :-)
