My car has had trouble starting as of recent. I have worked around it by jiggling wires and such. Well I finally looked into it this weekend and the positive battery cable clamp had broken!! The paqrt that clamps aqround the battery post. Yes, 180 degrees from the clamp bolt. Weird. On my car there are three wires plus the main cable going to +. With a little work - I hooked up a new clamp. (thanks dremel and hacksaw - I also cleaned up all connections). Most surprising change is that my radio reception is much better. Maybe my imagination but the car idle's smoother as well. Go figure.
