on your first question, yes, there is no prompt. When the code is activated, and you turn the key and radio on, it should flash "CODE." Then you enter the code.

Not sure what you mean by "storing the # sequence is automatic." But, say your code is 1234. And you push 134. You are doomed, because you can't "restart" entering the right code. If you start over, 1234, it won't work, and the radio will eventually lock up.

1 hour of 12V to the radio resets it and you start from scratch.


Thanks....one thing is the procedure.... one would turn the ignition key.... and then
one would go to imputing the #s without a pronpt? and then storing the # sequence is automatic??
