A few years ago, I spent mega bucks and mega time with the charging system, only to discover that the old battery, and the new replacement battery were both bad. The Interstate battery folks were not receptive to this idea, but it did happen.

Make sure you have a good battery.


greetings all.....have replaced the defective alternator and am still tinkering;...as of this moment there is still no charge going to the battery,...which of the relays should i be checking and where specifically are they located..?
grounds are all good, and so far, no open circuit has been located.
(bentley is forthcoming as christmas gift)
"she" started without hesitation after a brief "charging" session,but died shortly after as if it had run out of fuel,..subsequent attempt to restart showed that battery was dead again. ( battery new as of 6mths ago)

your advice would be greatly appreciated...
