My '86 535i started to run badly yesterday. I checked the oil and found a white deposite in the middle of the stick, and on the top of the fill cap. I presume this is coolant in the oil? Help! I'm calling the tow truck on Wednesday>

maybe that's all.If the head is also bad,I do have a spare,but it doesn't really sound like it.

Do a valve job as long as it's off if you plan to keep it.Cheaper now than later.
