I don't use it that much, mostly to pump up tires, occasionally drive an air tool, blow the engine compartment clean after washing it once a year or so.
I don't know how long it will last, but I do know that it is unbelievably loud!!! I would not buy it for that reason alone.

As a former sales rep for a well known compressor company, Go with the oil lubed units. They last 200 years, are 100% quieter and are easier to maintain. The OIL FREE compressors suck. They are for the home owner that will use it once a year. The cylinder sleeve needs to be changed every 500 or so hours no matter what people tell you. Devilbiss, Campbell, Craftsman are the way to go.
