Open the hood, Stand on the passenger side looking at engine, reach with left hand to the silver rectangle ( about 10"x 2')with lettering on it

the "O" is the filler cap. Follow below advice as to dipstick levels

I'm car sitting and need to put in motor oil. Does it go in the long, rectangular silver containter?
