I have a 1985 535i manual transmission car which will be for sale in March. It is currently my dialy driver. The car runs well and has some new parts, including a rebuilt driveshaft. I look at it as a parts car because it has rust starting in the corners, the catalytic converter now rattles, the front oil seal has started to leak, A/C doesn't work and the heater core has a miniscule (but anoying) leak. Accordingly I would price it at the low end of the scale. But it would make a good donor car for a conversion. I am located in Toronto, Canada. E mail me if you are interested.

Can I locate a manual transmission from maybe even a beater 528 or some other depreciated BMW to convert my automatic 535i to a manual trans? Also, which limited slip diffs will fit in this car? Has anybody got a parts car with appropriate pieces for a driveline swap?
Thanks,
-Brian
