I may be selling my trusty 535i. I've had it for over seven years and I'm the third meticulous owner. It has 197k miles but it drives and runs as well (probably better) as the day I bought it when it had 110k. This has been an incredibly reliable car, it has been very inexpensive to maintain and I’m quite picky about how my cars run and drive, if it’s not right it gets fixed. I just put four new 225/60-14 Michelin XGTH4 tires on and had the BBS wheels refinished at the same time about 4k miles ago. I’ve always used the best parts and had it serviced at a great shop, Precision Motorwerks (BMW Certified), in Seattle. For instance when it needed brake pads I replaced all four rotors with ATE rotors, PowerDisk elliptically grooved in front and used PBR pads. The brakes are so smooth and powerful, better than new. It’s stock except for a Dinan engine chip. It has all Hella lighting high and low beam H4’s and 550F fog lights. I just got back from a trip where I drove it for 1500 miles. It didn’t use a drop of oil, drove beautifully on both the freeway and on windy mountain roads. I was only going to drive half way on the back but the car is so nice to drive I drove for 10.5 hours with only one dinner stop and didn’t get worn out. The car feels like it will go forever! Frankly it made me rethink my decision to upgrade to a newer 5 series. The only thing it needs is that pesky light behind the trip computer isn’t working, that’s it! It is a local car so it has no rust problems and both the tan leather interior and Bronzit exterior are in excellent condition. The car has great AC, Power windows, door locks, mirrors, sunroof, seats and antenna. It also has a Blaupunkt CD deck that looks very original to the car. The price is $5200 obo, unless I change my mind. The car is in Seattle. Email me at spkrdesign@aol.com
Thanks,
Jeff
