in the past with the Porsche club, I have to add that if we are thinking of renting a track, we are talking BIG bucks. For instance, Phoenix International Raceway is a little over $3000 for a day. That does not include the EMS (required), insurance (required), tow truck (required), timing equipmet and alot of other small expensnes. If we want to do some sort of a driving event, I would suggest an autocross done in an large empty parking lot. We will still most likely have to secure some type of insurance to cover the owners butt from liabilty and some type of timing equipment.
Just somehting to think about.

p.s. I might suggest somewhere in Oklahoma or Kansas. Very centrally located for all.
