Dave:
I'd love to see a writeup on this, as I'm thinking about having some headwork done on my 6er. Since most of my experience has been with classic American cars, the BMW engine with its OHC head, FI, and sophisticated electronics is a bit intimdating. Nothing that can't be overcome with some good instructions and pointers, however.

I plan on having the machine work and some porting done at a reputable shop in L.A., so my questions would mostly pertain to the easiest way to R&R the head. Thanks!
