I have:
85 528e in burgundy with tan int.
85 535i in Porsche Silver with tan "is" sport seat interior
The 528e is in fine running condition and the interior is mint, but the paint is faded.
The 535i has great paint and the interior has been converted over to power "is" sport seats in great shape. It also has other goodies like a BMP strut bar, K&N air filter, 740i wheels and 235/50 tires (like new), new exhaust and cat, brake booster and master cyl, new front suspention, interior carpet set, cibie H4 headlamps. It is a great car.
I am highly negotiable on the sales of these cars. If you are looking for an e28, I have what you need! Heck, buy both! I need the money to finish up my 745i and I am scrambling to get some cash for a home purchase.

You are welcomed to come look at the cars and even take them to a mechanic for a review. (There are many highly acclaimed BMW mechanics within 10 miles of me, including the Dinan in Mountain View and Ray's Ultimate in Santa Clara.
